Little Stony Point Collective

Lakeside GazeboThe Little Stony Point Collective is a group of seasoned musicians who play in and around the lower Hudson Valley. They started as the house band for the Pete-Seeger-founded Little Stony Point Citizens Association in the Hudson Highlands State Park. The band features a rotating cast of lifelong musicians, both professional and amateur, with complementary musical styles and visions.
They play covers of fan favorites and obscure gems, in a style that blends Americana, rock, and soul. For the Fuller Moon festival, the lineup features Kim Hiss on acoustic guitar, Brian Grahn on electric guitar, Lucius Bell on violin, Christine Fitzgerald on bass, and Bo Bell on drums, with all members sharing lead and harmony vocal duties.

Two Dance Improvisations, first by members of the Warwick Dance Collective and second with community involvement led by Ian Wen
Live Jazz and Dance Improv with Beyond Jazz, a six piece improvisational ensemble, Warwick Dance Collective, and Ian Wen/de novo dance.
Inspiring and supporting the dancers, the band will play improvisational music with influences from funk, R&B, rock, jazz, folk, classical, latin, world music and more. Beyond Jazz members have worked together for several years: J. Brunka, basses and effects, Ed Littman, guitars and effects, Steve Rubin, drum set and percussion, Rick Savage, trumpet, flugelhorn, and percussion, Ian Smit, guitar and effects, Joe Vincent Tranchina, keyboard. Meliora

Site Specific Dance WorkPremiere of "Meliora," a site-specific, contemporary ballet performed by the Warwick Dance Collective, produced by Warwick Center for the Performing Arts. 6 - 7PM, Theatre Building, outdoor stage.
Set on the natural stage of Mt. Lake Park, the audience is transported into the mythical world of Meliora where immortals live harmoniously with nature and the cosmos. The story centers on the idea that human effort can improve the world. The work explores the impact of Meliora and Earth on each other, highlighting the disruption caused by human disharmony. To restore balance, four ambassadors are sent to teach humans the principles of coexistence and harmony. Written by Jennifer Padham, choreography by Pamela Sorensen, Melissa Padham-Maass and members of the Warwick Dance Collective.

Warwick Dance & Broadway Collectives with Fiddle Frenzy

The Warwick Dance Collective and Broadway Collectives are the resident performing companies of the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts. The Collective enriches the culture of the Hudson Valley by offering top-quality, noncompetitive dance performances, training, and mentorship for both local and New York City-based artists. WDC allows dancers of various ages and skill levels to participate in rigorous training and gain valuable performance opportunities. The Warwick Broadway Collective, established in 2022, further expands this mission by offering students the chance to study with professionals, with past performances including Mary Poppins, Into the Woods, and Alice in Wonderland.Joining the Warwick Dance Collective at the Fuller Moon Arts Festival is Fiddle Frenzy, a group of young fiddlers ages 7-18, created by Christy Brown, a long-time fiddler of Emish. These talented musicians perform a variety of styles, including Irish, Scottish, Old Time, and Bluegrass tunes, showcasing the vibrant musical traditions of the Hudson Valley.

E.R. illustrates the almost “surgical” dismembering of Mr. Salaam’s mother’s life during her tenure in an emergency room hospital as she oscillates through the roles of caregiver, patient, healer and the infirmed. -
